Who We Are

The Colorado Legal Insurance Help Fund is a non-profit created in the small town of Lyons CO, nestled in the foothills of the Rockies. This organization was founded by two High School students, Niko Sparks and Wilma Spencer, with one goal in mind: restoring justice to the insurance system.

Over the years, insurance companies have been denying people of their claims they oftentimes are rightfully entitled to. On top of this, they have denied or rescinded countless peoples coverage for living in a “high risk area”. Why? One reason is that they know that the only way to combat this is through our legal system. A legal system that regular civilians often cannot navigate due to the expensive legal process and overall complexity.

Thus, we created Co-LIH Fund, targeted to helping the regular civilian, someone who should not be the underdog of the system but unfortunately is. We hope to give access to the ability to have a fair say, to keep corporations accountable.
